The revenues of the stadium are an important source of income for your team; this is why you should plan your investments in this area carefully to avoid a deterioration of your finances. At the beginning the stadium is equipped with 1000 standing places. Depending on your budget, you can upgrade the stadium however you want. But remember: Watch the numbers of your spectators/fans carefully; empty places are producing costs without bringing any income.
Upgrading: You have several possibilities to upgrade your stadium: Standing places, seaters, roofed places and VIP-places. Depending on the kind of those places the costs of building, altering and maintaining vary.
Hint: If you are ordering roofed places, only already existing places (esp. seaters & standing places) will be roofed - you don't build totally new places. So this is an upgrading of places that already exist.
The more you build with one order/at the same time, the more time it will consume before the building is finished. This means when you are starting to alter/enlarge your stadium you will have to pay the construction costs immediately. On the other hand, you will receive the revenues of you re-sized stadium no sooner than after the first home-match after the upgrade is finished. The costs for maintenance will be higher from this moment on, too. To avoid bankruptcy, think carefully before you make any alteration.
Attention:
VIP-seats can't be built until your stadium has reached a total size of 2.500 places (seaters & standing places). You can build one VIP-place per 500 ordinary places (seaters and standing places).
You can build snack stalls when your stadium has reached a total of 1.200 places (seaters and standing places). There are 200 places (standing places and seaters) required for each snack stall. A snack stall brings you money, when it is visited by at least one spectator at least. The maximum number of snack stalls is 20.
