Standard League

Table: Leader of the table is of course the team with the highest amount of points. If two teams have the same amount of points, the goal difference is decisive, if the goal difference is the same; the number of scored goals is decisive.

A league consists of ten teams, a season consists of 18 matches (first and second half of the season).

Teams with the symbol "PC" are so-called “computerteams”; they are not managed by a user but by the computer. Line-up, tactical line-up and training are produced randomly, Computer-teams are automatically relegated and hence cannot advance.

By clicking the "letter-icon" you can directly pm the user. The arrows mark the climbing and relegated teams from the previous season. The masters and mid-term masters receive a reward/trophy-icon.

When computerteams are taken over by users, they have to manage their team for at least 13 match-days to be allowed to climb/advance to the next higher league. This means, if a user is registering during the season, he has to have played at least 13 (league-) matches until the end of the season to be admitted for the next league.

Fixtures: You can see every match played or yet to play as well as the referees assigned. If you click on a past match, you can open the result and the match-reports with the match-evaluations. Studying them can give you precious clues concerning the choice of line-up and tactics for the following matches.

Using the "search-button", you can review every match of every team of the actual season.

Line-up: You can choose different line-ups/playing-systems, like 3-5-2 or 4-4-2. The playing field is automatically converted to the chosen system. By double-clicking a player you can see more detailed information on the player. Use drag and drop to position the players. When you've assigned your players in accordance to their abilities to a certain position (goalie, defender, midfielder, striker), you will find the colouring (black, yellow, blue, red) very helpful in speeding up the process of lining-up. (The defining of positions is optional, but helpful for having an overview on your squad).

Don't forget to save your line-up!

You can also save several line-ups in advance and access those saved settings. In addition to that you can save a "standard-line-up", which will be used whenever you may forget to define a line-up. If you have not defined a standard line-up, the computer will do the work - randomly.

Tactics: A match is divided in four parts, of which offers the possibility for a certain number of chances. You can define tactics for each of these parts, which will be played by your team.

Fair play and intense: A high playing intensity requires players with high stamina, playing to hard can lead to more injuries and increases the possibility of yellow and red cards, in accordance to the type of the referee.

Substitution of players: You have the possibility to define substitutions for each leg of the game. The choices are "no substitution", "when tired" and "always substitute".

With the option "when tired", there is not automatically a substitution. These are the possibilities:
· due to tiredness (loss of stamina) a defender will be substituted by a defender, when there is no defender available, a midfielder will take the position
· due to tiredness (loss of stamina) a midfielder will be substituted by a midfielder, when there is no midfielder available, a striker or a defender will take the position
· due to tiredness (loss of stamina) a striker will be substituted by a striker, when there is no striker available, a midfielder will take the position

If you select "always substitute", the substitution will take place for sure. The weakest (most tired) player will leave the field and a player of the concerned position (defence, midfield, offense) will take the position. Remember that also the foot has to fit the position, if there is no such player available, the substitution is cancelled. The same thing happens when you want to substitute for instance a midfielder when there is none available assigned to the midfielders bench.

The loss of stamina depends on the number of actions in a game, in which the player is participating. It can happen that a player with low original stamina is not substituted if he was not taking part in many actions/activities during the match so far. On the other hand a player with high original stamina can leave the field because he took part in numerous actions/activities.

Concerning the substitutes, the players on the first row of the substitute-bench will enter the field first, followed by players of the second row (if further substitutes are defined). Only exception: If the foot of the first player doesn't fit the position which a player should occupy, but the player of the second row does fit, then the latter will be the substitute. It is not required to assign all places of the substitute’s bench.

Also at this menu-item there is the possibility to save several tactics and define a standard.

The effective strength consists of the tactical strength of the trainer, of the experience of the players (the sum of all the experience of all players) and of the tactical skills of the players. The home-team also benefits of the positive effects of home field advantage.

Hint: If you play the same tactic more than once a game, your opponent can "predict" your moves better - so there is a "habituation effect" if you repeat tactics in a single match.

Match reports: On this site you can see your matches and the season. Just click on a match to enter the match report.

Top scorers: Like in real football/soccer, also "YaTF" nominates a top scorer/league at the end of the season. Scores and assists are listed. The prize money currently is 12.500 Euro. Furthermore, champion teams receive 50.000 Euro; advancing/climbing teams get 25.000 Euro.
