Hi Community,
Next season the first nations competition will be held, in which 18 countries play in a league against each other.
When registering you have selected a region. Your selection determines where your starting players and your youth players come from, and now also to what country you belong. Some countries are pooled, for example, Tyrol and Vorarlberg; for Switzerland and England all "states" are put together and play as a country. For your country you can choose to try to be elected as the team manager. The election takes place at the beginning of a season. The team manager may nominate players for the matches of the respective countries of origin for the squad, set the line-up and tactics and "playing philosophy". A nations competition lasts for two regular seasons, and during the entire time, each team manager can also be dismissed. In this case the runner up of the last election will be the new team manager.
Election:
Anyone can stand for election to the team manager. All users of a country may, during the approximately three weeks long election period submit up to three votes. The three votes are equal. Who at the end of the election has the most votes becomes the first team manager of the country. A week later, there will be the first international match.
League:
The matches are held every Sunday at 5pm, and all users are invited to not only watch the matches but also participate in the discussions during the live match. A nations season stretches over 17 matchdays. In an international match, the players gain experience and can lose fitness. Players can not get injured or get bans, so a player cannot suddenly be no longer available on Sunday evening for the match on Monday morning.
Nomination:
The team manager can choose from all players of the country for the squad. The team manager does not see which team a player comes from. Furthermore, he can only nominate one player from a team each. The team manager may at any time and as often as he wants make changes to the squad.
Playing philosophy:
The team leader can distribute a total of 45 points over the 9 tactics. The nine tactics are divided into "defensive", "normal" and "offensive". For each of the three alignments, a maximum of 20 of the 45 points can are allocated. This (up to) 20 points can be distributed freely among the three tactics of alignment.
Dismissal:
Every Sunday at 8pm the team managers can be dismissed if more than 50% of all Users of the country elect for dismissal.
Community:
On all menu entries, all matches, all team managers, etc. there are separate discussions directly in the game. In addition, each country has its own forum. The team manager also has his own blog right in the game, and all Users are free to access and join the discussion.
Statistics:
Every country has its own statistics page. This includes former team managers, nations comparison, goals, assists, matchreports, and more.
Prices:
It is not clear yet which prices the Users of the winning country will receive. We are looking forward to your suggestions!
GL,
Thomas
