Incomplete or incorrect translations
 

Hi,

in this thread you may post incomplete or incorrect translations you find in the game, so we can collect these errors and correct them. Please also feel free to suggest better versions of texts that may sound odd to a native English speaker.

As already postet in the german suggestions and complaints, there's a mistake, if you select several monitored auctions an press the "Delete Selected"-Button.

The Pop-Up says:

A new special version of Denglish? ;-) *scnr*

Many pop-ups are false, for instance, if you want to delete a youth player from the watchlist, the pop-up asks you if you want to delete this COACH from the list.

There are a lot of failures, that i have seen, but these are in the "Englische Version"-thread in german.

If you click on the "superstars" market value, you can see: "Keine vergleichbaren Spieler gefunden"

transfer-actions, youth:

many areas are not translated, there are still expressions like: "herkunft", "restdauer", "schussbein", "spezialfähigkeit", and the whole left side is in german.

Problem: Player names are in English, yes.

But they will of course be fired altogether before long, and replaced by purchased players from the transfer market.

These are all from Austria/Germany/Switzerland, so by the first match, the squads will look pretty much like they do in Austria... :-(

If I were English, this would not motivate me very much... Is it the same in Germany and Switzerland?

simply delete the german word "noch" and it is correct.

And in the Youth Academy is also an error:

First sentence in yhe introduction:
The youtacedemy is where you take care of your investments in a bright future for your club

The right word is Youth Academy ;)

Defining training: "Im TL wird immer mit Int. 5 trainiert"

Should be in english!!

Cup: i want to join the "oberer ligencup" (<- eigenname), but i can not, because it says: "automatisch angemeldet". Should be: "automatically registered"...or so xD

as i took a big effort to translate all the german help-threads quickly into english (work of 12 hours), i didn't have the power to correct the obvious mistakes, typing-errors and so on. in addidtion to that, certainly some expressions or sentances may sound quite odd to native-hearing ears.

so please, if you want to, go to those threads (forum: "help") http://forum.du-bist-der-teamchef.at...play.php?f=366
and correct whatever passage you like. make sure you pm me the WHOLE corrected passage, please.

until then i am sure the threads serve their purpose: they exist and are accessible for every new user who is depending on english information.

If you click on one youth-player, you can read, for instance: "You are able to NAME NAME dismiss"

The sentance should be like this: "You are able to dismiss NAME NAME"

If you hover the mouse over the the substitution symbol in the match reports, the text ist still in german. Take a look at the screen shot.

in general, I would have a another look at the translation of the ToU. It reads like Google translate did the job for you.
