Well, the point is: You have to pay them absolutely impossible salaries, and they do not increase their skills and tactics in training any more...

Sooner or later, a team with only oldies will be caught and overtaken by all the others, it is just a question of time! ;-)

But until then, they can enjoy watching their team beating the hell out of anybody else! :-(

OK, 0:3 is a fair deal, I guess - the red card in the first half did of course not help...

On the other hand: Konsi got 7 pieces, if I remember correctly... ;-)

The re-match at the end of the season will already be closer, given the results of my trainings - next I am going on a camp! :-D

yes I also have enough young players but what intentsity you are training and what camp you are going to and how long?

This season I am doing Tackling and Marking, intensity 8 to 10, with the following results so far:

Tackling 8 -25 +36 -0 +3
Tackling 9 -19 +47 -0 +4
Tackling 10 -30 +46 -1 +4
Tackling 9 -31 +42 -0 +5
Tackling 8 -19 +43 -0 +2
Deckung 9 -22 +50 -1 +4

All in all, I am very happy with the results. :-D

Camp will be Greece for defensive Skills and defensive Tacs. I am not sure if I will go for two weeks with bad quality or rather for only one week with medium quality... Unfortunately I do not have the money for more! :-(

No, you're not lost - like I said at the beginning of the season: It will be very close in the end! ;-)

It's a shame that our league is that strong - I have looked at some match reports in other leagues, and there the teams around 4th or 5th place are far weaker than ours... So really bad luck that one of us has to stay another season in this league! :-(

Don't worry, Deni: If I could bet, I would risk lots of money on saying that you will be in the first real Premier League in three seasons time... :-D

At least as long as Olesch keeps scoring, but I guess he must be REALLY tired by now... ;-)

I'm not sure if I am through yet: Mini has lost today quite surprinsingly, Oxford has recovered after losing his match against me, and Konsi also has not given up yet - I have to give it my best shot against you and hope for at least one point! 8-)

@deni: Just between you and me - you DO know that fitness is NOT restored to 10 at the end of the season like motivation, don't you?

I really don't know what you are up to: You are already Champion (by the way: Congratulations, the by far best has won!), Olesch is already Topscorer... And your team seems to be almost FINISHED with fitness (at least if you believe the information from the "league comparison"). How do you expect to start into next season?

Probably you should take things a bit easier in the remaining matches (especially in the one against me)!!! ;-)

Of course I know! My next matches will be bring me 0 points cause I have bought 10 players, which costet about 0^^ They will play my next matches and I hope that my "stars" can get some power...
Hopefully the league next season will be easier...but I do not think so :-(

Regarding next season: Let's wait and see - at least we will have two PC-teams in the league, and if we're lucky, one team from league 6, which are almost like PC-teams...

On the other hand: Everybody that gets promoted after season 1 knows EXACTLY what he is doing, so the other 7 (or 6) opponents in the league should be tough as old boots... :-?

Again on the other hand: We don't have to win, we just have to stay among the top four... ;-)

By the way: No offense, old friend, but I hope to meet YOU again no sooner than in four seasons time in the Premier League!!! ;-)

But lets wait for your direct duel: Oxford has many old, experienced players in their ranks. If they win, its a clear case after all, and you will be six points away from promotion in the end, no matter what Deni does...

If you win, then you still have a chance: After all, Oxford still has to play Mini's Team, and you have the easier remaining program...

In any case it's a shame that our league has been so close from the beginning: In other leagues, weaker teams than our "Big Five" will be promoted at the end of the season! :-(

frankly speaking, I do not see a chance of saving 150 - 200k for a defensive coach with strength 2... :-(

As long as competition is so fierce, every Euro goes into better players, and this will possibly stay that way as long as I am in the run for Premier League...

If I do not manage to get promoted next season or the season after, then there will be time to put aside some money...

I already got my new trainer and i'm not the only one. I think its a necessary investment, and without better trainers reaching the premier league won't be possible.

Very important indeed, but for me still impossible... :shock:

I could have the money by the end of next season; until then I hope to get along with my current coach...

He has 5 and 6 points with the two tactics I play most; I think this is as good as a trainer with strength two and tactics values of 4 and 5, for example...

In trainings the difference will be even less: Everybody in the run for Premier League plays mostly with experienced tactic pushers, and they do not improve in training any more, no matter what coach you have...

But I will keep an eye on you, folks: If you become TOO good, I may change my mind! ;-)

When you were leading 2:0 shortly after the beginning of the match, I already thought you had him, but later on in the game Oxford recovered...

congratulations to the teams which has successful accomplished the first english league.
it was a really tough fight to climb up to the 1. upper league between me, cgoerg, thedeathcat and finally konsi2000.
on final matchday we`ll see which team can save the last ticket.
i hope we´ll meet us again.

Will you rest your players against oxford?

Good question... :-?

I remember two seasons ago in Austria, when my favourite team, Sturm Graz (keep your fingers crossed this evening!!!), played the last round with a B-team, because coach Foda gave some of his key players a rest: In the league, Sturm had no chance anymore, but only few days after the last round was the cup final...

The result was that Sturm won the cup with the well-rested players, and the fans of Austria Wien were quite pissed because Red Bull Salzburg took the championship with an easy win in Graz...

If it was me, I think I would play with full power also in the last round, because I would not want to decide the really thrilling race between Oxford and Konsi - let's see what Mika does and how it all ends! :-D

yes if he also saves some of his players i had the badest lot ... (deny also did it and i was the one who had the bad lot)

I won´t influence the final round by saving all my top players.
But one or two players i have to save, because of my "little final - cup game" on friday.
But this change doesn´t really reduce my skills.
Don´t worry!!!!
